Is the Windows Server licence included?

Yes, it’s part of the listed price: nothing extra to buy, nothing to activate by hand. The server ships with Windows Server installed and Remote Desktop already open.

How do I connect to my Windows VPS?

Over Remote Desktop (RDP), using the IP address and credentials sent by email. The client ships with Windows, is available on macOS and Android via Microsoft Remote Desktop, and on Linux via Remmina.

How many users can connect at once?

Two simultaneous administrative sessions, which matches the standard licence. Beyond that you need Remote Desktop client access licences, which we don’t supply: open a ticket to discuss it.

Can I run a bot or trading software on it?

Yes, that’s a common use: MetaTrader, an automation bot or a line-of-business application run continuously without depending on your own computer. Do set applications to start automatically after a reboot.

How do I secure RDP access?

Change the administrator password on first login, rename the default account, restrict port 3389 to your own IP addresses in the Windows firewall, and apply updates. An RDP left open with a weak password is attacked within hours.
