FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How many players on a Palworld server?

The dedicated server takes up to 32 players. Memory is the deciding factor: the Apprenti plan suits a handful of friends, Dompteur around fifteen players, and Maître a full community.

Can I move a single-player save to the server?

Yes. Copy your local save folder into Pal/Saved/SaveGames on the server over SFTP, then point the configuration file at that world. Make a copy before doing anything.

Does the server update automatically?

Yes, an update check runs on every boot. Palworld is still in early access and moves fast, so a simple restart is usually enough to pick up a patch from the developer.

Can I change the difficulty settings?

Yes, everything lives in PalWorldSettings.ini: experience rate, damage, day length, Pal capture and breeding rates. The file is edited straight from the panel.

What if the server uses too much memory?

Palworld tends to accumulate memory over hours of uptime. Schedule a daily restart from the Schedules tab: it’s the most effective fix, and it saves you from oversizing your plan.
